Pag-IBIG Loan Calculator: Payment per Loan Amount
Contents
The Pag-IBIG loan calculator question is one multiplication: the MPL rate of 1.4583% per month applied to your loan amount over up to 24 months. This page prices the standard amounts on the diminishing-balance formula, so you can see the monthly payment before you file. Checked September 2026.
The worked table of monthly payments
Computed on the diminishing-balance amortization formula at 1.4583% monthly over 24 months (our computation):
| Loan amount | Monthly payment (24 mo) | Total interest |
|---|---|---|
| ₱20,000 | ≈₱994 | ≈₱3,849 |
| ₱50,000 | ≈₱2,485 | ≈₱9,623 |
| ₱100,000 | ≈₱4,969 | ≈₱19,247 |
Every figure scales linearly: double the amount, double the payment. The interest share stays constant at this rate and term — roughly 19% of the principal across two years, our computation.
The formula, in one line
Monthly payment = principal × monthly rate ÷ (1 − (1 + monthly rate)^−months). At 1.4583% monthly over 24 months, the factor works out so that each ₱10,000 borrowed costs about ₱497 a month. Diminishing-balance quotes differ from flat-rate ones; the methodology page explains the gap, and the loan calculator runs any amount.
The grace period caveat
The MPL's published terms include a grace period before amortizations begin. The enhanced guidelines added a one-year term option. Both change the monthly figure: a longer term lowers the payment and raises the total interest, and interest during grace may be capitalized. Price your actual offer from the fund's disclosure, not from the table alone.
