The VPlus loan app offers ₱1,000 to ₱50,000 over 91 to 180 days, with a stated annual interest cap of 18%. This review checks the record and recomputes the listing's example into yearly terms. Every catch gets named. Everything below was verified by hand on September 16, 2026.

Is VPlus Legit? The SEC Record First
VPlus passes the legality gate, with one mismatch you should know before you apply. The lender is Philippine Vastness Lending Corporation, a lending company with SEC registration CS201918401 and Certificate of Authority 3158. One caution: both numbers come from the app's own listing, not the primary registry, so we label that source "app listing".
The platform record is older than the app. The official list of recorded online lending platforms, dated January 26, 2026, lists "Vplus" as platform 118 under entry 76, Philippine Vastness Lending Corporation, record date January 10, 2020. The platform sat on the record six years before the iPhone app shipped on March 20, 2026. The listing also declares registration with the National Privacy Commission. No ban or advisory names VPlus or its operator in the SEC enforcement records we track.
Registration is the entry ticket, not a quality stamp. Price and payout channels are separate questions.
Full verification steps are on our is VPlus SEC registered page; the complete 2026 record lives in our SEC registered lending apps list.
How a VPlus Loan Works: Step by Step
A VPlus loan runs fully from your phone. There is no official website, so the two store listings are the only doors in.
- Install from an official listing only. Google Play, package ph.vplus.fast.cash.loan, or iOS app id6758645081 sold by Philippine Vastness Lending Corporation. Skip APKs and side channels.
- Register with your mobile number. Requirements: a mobile number, one valid ID, age 21 or up. No paperwork or branch visits, per the listing.
- Set the amount and term. ₱1,000 to ₱50,000, with 91 to 180 days.
- Read every term and the payout route before you confirm. The listing promises all loan terms are clearly displayed before confirmation. Screenshot that screen, and check inside the app whether the money goes to your bank, GCash, or elsewhere, since the listing names no channel.
What a VPlus Loan Really Costs
VPlus publishes a worked example. Here is the math behind the headline.
The listing's example: borrow ₱12,000 for 120 days at a quoted daily rate of 0.05%, and the interest is ₱720, so you repay ₱12,720 in four installments of ₱3,180 each. Source: the VPlus Google Play listing, checked September 16, 2026. Now the same numbers in yearly terms, with the simple annual formula from our methodology page: interest divided by what you received, times 365 over the days.
| Scenario | Rate basis | Interest | You repay | Effective annual rate (our estimate) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| VPlus, listing example | ₱12,000 for 120 days at 0.05% per day | ₱720 | ₱12,720 | about 18.25% |
Read the small print on that estimate. A daily rate of 0.05% times 365 days equals 18.25% a year, so the listing's own example sits just above the "Maximum Annual Interest Rate: 18%" printed in the same listing. Tiny gap, but real. Confirm the exact rate in your disclosure screen before you tap accept.
Two honest notes. The stated cap is low for this niche; registered peers advertise maximums of 20% to 36% a year. And our figure counts interest only; VPlus claims no hidden fees, yet late-payment charges are not published anywhere. Full rate breakdown: our VPlus interest rate page.
VPlus Pros and Cons at a Glance
Pros
- Low stated cap. An 18% maximum annual rate sits at the low end of registered loan apps we track.
- Transparent example. The listing shows full math for ₱12,000 over 120 days, interest included. Rare here.
- No fees, by statement. "No hidden fees. All loan terms are clearly displayed before confirmation."
- Registered and recorded. CS201918401 and CA 3158 per the app listing; platform on the official record since January 10, 2020.
- Wide range, real terms. ₱1,000 to ₱50,000 over 91 to 180 days, with installment repayment in the example.
- Both official stores. Google Play and iOS builds with a named seller, no APK-only distribution.
Cons
- Developer name mismatch in Google Play. The Play listing shows "Peso Agad Lending Corporation", while the description and iOS seller say Philippine Vastness Lending Corporation. Unresolved as of September 16, 2026.
- Payout channel unnamed. No bank, wallet, or disbursement route published.
- Young app, thin history. The iOS release shipped March 20, 2026. No track record, no verifiable borrower reviews.
- Late-payment terms unpublished. Nothing on penalties or default rates.
- CA number is secondary. CA 3158 comes from the app listing itself, not a primary registry read.
- 21 and older only. Some registered peers start at 18.
What to Know Before You Apply
We do not publish borrower stories we cannot verify, and VPlus is too young for verified reviews. So no testimonials here, only facts.
- The disclosure screen is the only document that matters. Rates, fees, and the exact total appear there before you confirm. Screenshot it, and run the total through our loan calculator.
- Check the lender's legal name in your contract. Given the developer mismatch, do not assume Philippine Vastness until you see it in your own documents.
- Ask where the money goes before you apply. The disbursement channel is not published.
- Late payment is priced in the dark. No penalty schedule is published; treat the on-time price as the only price you know.
- Short history means no pattern yet. No public record of how VPlus disburses, collects, or handles complaints.
Red Flags: When to Skip VPlus
Registration clears the scam question. It does not settle every doubt. The big one here is the developer name.
The Play Store developer mismatch. On Google Play, the developer field reads "Peso Agad Lending Corporation". The listing text says VPlus is operated by Philippine Vastness Lending Corporation, and the App Store sells the iOS app under that same name. The official platform record also names Philippine Vastness. Three sources agree, one field disagrees.
The innocent reading is plausible: publishers migrate apps between related companies. The bad reading matters too: a different company could be distributing under a registered platform's name. We cannot tell which is true from public records, so we flag it and hand you the check.
How to verify before you borrow:
- Run both company names through the SEC's Check with SEC tool at checkwithsec.sec.gov.ph, or call the hotline 1-4SEC.
- Write to Helpcenter@vastness-vplus.com and ask which company lends the money.
- Read your Disclosure Statement: the lender's legal name must appear there before you accept.
Walk away if any of these is true:
- You need the money in a specific wallet or bank, and cannot confirm the route.
- You will not apply until every company name matches. Fair, and the check above settles it.
- You are under 21.
- You need more than ₱50,000, or a term shorter than 91 days.
The caution pays. SEC advisories in 2026 named impostor apps wearing the names of registered brands. More warning signs are in our guide on how to check if a loan app is legit.

Frequently asked questions
Is VPlus SEC registered?
Yes. VPlus is operated by Philippine Vastness Lending Corporation, SEC registration CS201918401, Certificate of Authority 3158 as printed in the app listing. The platform "Vplus" appears in the official online lending list dated January 26, 2026, record date January 10, 2020. Verified September 16, 2026.
Is VPlus legit ba or scam?
In the regulatory sense, legit: a registered lending company, a recorded platform since 2020, and no SEC enforcement action against it in the records we track. Two questions stay open: the Play Store developer field names a different company, and the app has no operating history yet. Verify the names, then start small.
What is VPlus interest rate?
The listing states a maximum annual interest rate of 18%, with a worked example at 0.05% per day. Our recomputation of that example, ₱12,000 over 120 days with ₱720 interest, comes to about 18.25% a year on simple math. Confirm your exact rate in the disclosure screen.
Why does the VPlus developer name differ in the Play Store?
The developer field reads "Peso Agad Lending Corporation", while the app description and the iOS seller say Philippine Vastness Lending Corporation. We recorded the mismatch on September 16, 2026, and found no public explanation. Check both names with the SEC and confirm the lender's name in your Disclosure Statement before borrowing.
What do I need to apply for a VPlus loan?
A mobile number, one valid ID, and age 21 or older. The listing promises a fully digital flow, no paperwork, no branch visits.
The Verdict on this lender
If I had to boil it down: registered lender, low stated cap, two open questions.
- A first installment loan from a registered app: a reasonable candidate; an 18% cap is among the lowest stated in our tables.
- You need the money in a named channel today: skip it until the payout route is confirmed.
- You will not borrow where company names mismatch: wait, run the two-name check with the SEC, then decide.
- Bigger needs up to ₱50,000 with 180 days to repay: the range fits; run the numbers first.
One honest caveat. VPlus has been on iPhones only since March 20, 2026. That is a thin record. Treat it as a new product until borrowers build a history, and size your first loan accordingly.
The rule that never changes: confirm the registration, read the disclosure, then borrow only what you can repay on time.
